Now that we have arrived in Venezuela, travelers and sailors are welcome to join our family's voyage through the Caribbean S. America. During the last several months we completed the West Indies leg of our voyage visiting 12 different islands from Martinique to Grenada enjoying great trade wind sailing and awesome snorkelling. Saw lots of sea turtles, rays, octopus even a friendly shark or two on the pristine reefs in the Grenadines. Though some of our best times have been on board after the evening cockpit bbq pulling out guitars and having islanders joining in on the congas for jamming and singalongs. Right now on the coast we have nearly been unable to eat the buckets of seafood we've been catching and have lost count of the many schools of dolphin joining us each day in these rich waters fed by the Orinoco River. Soon we plan to visit one of the most extensive cave systems in the world and the huge flocks of wild parrots that inhabit the area near the Gulf of Cariaco. In the months ahead we will be continuing on to South and Central America to the islands of TORTUGA, LOS ROQUES, AVES ISLANDS, BONAIRE, CURACAO and ARUBA before continuing onto Colombia, Panama and Central America. So far friends and travellers have been stopping in all along our route but we still have plenty of room for anyone who'd like to join our adventure. No previous sailing experience is necessary and since we will be picking up and dropping off friends all along the route, you can stay as long or short as you like. If you are interested in joining send a note to my e-mail address with a few details about yourself and I can get back to you with more specific info on the itinerary, costs, etc. bigbonjaboy@yahoo.com
