Hi everyone,

Please let me know if your planning on doing a trip to anywhere in California, Oregon, or Arizona this March or early April. I'd love to come along for all or part.

Let me give an introduction of myself. I'm age 22 and currently residing on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada with my girlfriend. Though I'm actually an American citizen who grew up in Florida but last was in California for a few years. In 2001-02 I traveled overseas to Australia, N.Z, and the Fiji Islands for 9 months and returned stateside in June last year where I worked in Seattle, Washington.

Though I reside in Canada at the moment I do not have work authorization and therefore cannot work. So, because I've always wanted to see America's southwest (Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, southeast California, and Utah) now I want to see if any travelers are planning a trip throughout this region anything this spring, summer, or fall. My dates are entirely wide open. Though I am also considering WWOOFing (Willing Workers on Organic Farms) in New Mexico or trying to find work in one of the national parks in the southwest. Though the main goal of this excusion would be to just enjoy the adventure and see some of the great sights. The places I'm most eager to see are Bryce Canyon, the Grand Canyon, Zion, Arches, Salt Lake City, Santa Fe, White Sands National Monument (NM), San Diego backcountry, and Death Valley, California. Though just the desert scenery is what I'm mostly keen towards. I did a trip across the outback of Australia in early 2002 and it was absolutely amazing.

I am good company, laid back, clean, have plenty of CD's to listen to, and I have a valid driver's license with a spotless driving record. But unfortunitely I personally don't have a car. I'm interested in either camping, crashing in whatever vehicle we use, homestays, or hostels. I can share the costs of this trip with my traveling companions though all & all I hope to do this on a budget.

Some of my interests are music (I play guitar, keyboards, drums, and DJ), flora, fauna, meeting new people, astronomy (Star-gazing), reading, writing poetry, sports (Football, basketball, baseball, rugby, ect.), and of coarse traveling.
