I'll be in Ireland for my first time the end of this year. I am looking for a good place to celebrate the new year and some people to meet up with. This is the beginning of a six week vacation for me that will also take me through France, northern Italy, and Germany. I'm a 22 year old who just graduated college and wants to see the world before I start my job. I'd like to travel with someone who has limited experience in Europe and would like to hit some of the major tourist spots. Let me know if you're interested.
if you want to hit major tourist spots in Ireland around new years then Christchurch, Dublin City Centre at twelve bells should do it for you. The Temple Bar area is also a major tourist attraction, it's not too far away from Christchurch, about 7 or 8 minutes walk, but be warned- there will be a lot of very drunk and very silly people about so it's not for the faint of heart or weak of stomach.
