Landing in Sydney Feb 1, after about a week will head out of the city. Itinerary is not set, but it looks like Melbourne, then the train to Perth. Probably 3-4 weeks total in Oz, then headed to NZ, most likely south island (one trip at a time).

Looking for folks to meet up with along the way. I'm laid back, relatively novice traveler but ready to try new things. I'm an American from NY, 29, male, leaving the rat race behind. I really enjoy cities of any kind, but looking to appreciate the unspoiled parts of WA and NZ. I'm a little past the 'drunk teens' part of my life, but I enjoy meeting just about anybody.

Anyone looking for company to go clubbing in Sydney, coffee in Melbourne, the train ride to Perth, and hiking out in WA?
