Hi y'all,

I'm seeking for another adventure seeker to reach the Tunguska event epicenter overland. The Tunguska Natural Reserve is located in Siberia, North West from Lake Baikal. In 1908, an ice meteor (or an unknown event) leveled over 2000 square kilometers of Siberian Taiga. The co-ordinates of the Tunguska Meteorite strike site are 60°50'55'' x 101°50'57''

Anyone interested in treking on that part of Russia? My intend of course is to reach the epicenter of the 1908 Tunguska event by foot (but i'm not counting off buying/hiring horses). I'm heading to Russia on mid April 2003 and plan to start the trek on May 15th. Email me if you'll be interested at darthmilmo@yahoo.com

Note, the rigourous trek can take over a month since access to this remoute region is limited. Therefore you'll need to get a business visa, not just the travel visa.
cheers,
Fernando

PS: I'll probably post this in a few months as well :). But, if you have any information on such a trek please let me know.
