Unless I get a big fat contract I am planning on spending five or six weeks in either Egypt or India soon, probably Egypt unless conditions make it unwise. I plan to do the major tourist sites (Sphynx, Pyramids of Giza, Valley of the Kings etc.) but also to explore beyond these. For example, I would like to travel the length and breadth of the Abu Simnel site. If possible I also want to spend a little on a Nile Cruise but I am tight fisted so it will be a little. To complete the trip a week or so on the Red Sea coast at somewhere like Dahab to do some diving, windsurfing and just lie on a beach would be good.
