I'm 21/m from London, and am looking to travel the world for roughly a year, leaving in April 2003 (coz apparently this is the cheapest time to go). I'm currently a student in Leeds Uni, but finish in June, plan to earn some moolah and off I go. I'm quite easy going, into my music and football, go out quite a lot but also like doing quiet things occasionally. I want to go to Oz/New Zealand, the far East, possibly South America and Africa. I'm also considering working abroad for some of the time. As you can tell, I don't really know exactly what I want to do yet, but my problem is I don't know anyone who wants to go away for so long, and am looking for a travel partner for at least some of my trip. I am in the same position as you, thinking about going March next year heading in the same direction and at present have a friend that is supposed to be coming but I am not holding my breath so am planning my trip with the intentions of going on my own and if I can find someone to go with Phew!
I went out to Thailand in Feb for a couple of weeks to meet some friends and fell in love with the place so have given up my job and flat in london and am moving back to my parents to save all the money I can to go, I want to head out to Oz first and work my way round with the intentions of ending up in Thailand.
