I'm hoping to travel after I finish uni next summer, and I'm hoping to have saved up enough money to go by the end of 2003, or jan/feb 2004. I'm really looking for someone to travel with, or preferably to get a group together, I'm sure there are plenty of people out there looking for travel companions! Even if we had slightly different ideas of where we wanted to go, we could split up and meet along the way. I really just don't want to go into this alone! Maybe we could meet up beforehand if we lived anywhere near each other? I live in Kilmarnock, south-west Scotland.
Ideally I want to go to North America, South America, Australia, South-east Asia(inc Japan) and maybe even a bit of Europe on the way back, though I probably won't be able to afford all of that!

I'm planning a long Asia trip in 2004, travelling (mostly) overland from Bangkok to Moscow. I like travelling solo but I would like to have travel buddies for some parts of the trip. If I stick to the plan I have now I should be in south East Asia roughly between january and march 2004. Let me know if you think our plans correspond.
