I am planning a solo trip to Europe starting in May 2003 - my rough plan is Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Denmark, Sweeden, Norway, over to Scotland and down to the northwest of England. As well as spending time in the cities I would like to spend some time in the more rural areas as well. I am planning on camping and staying in youth hostels and just generally doing this as cheaply as possible. Is there anything I shouldn't miss that maybe the guide books don't tell you? If anyone is planning a similar trip and would like to meet up - let me know!

Hi, my name is Anne, I'm not sure yet (I prefer to tell you), but I was planning to go to Norway, this year (see my post as flybirdee79) tell me when you thnik to be there. I went to Scotland 2 years ago, and I'm crazy about it, and I wouldn't mind to go back again , and I could guide about all I did over there.

When I'm not attending meetings I watch movies, football, reading (mostly non-fiction) and listen to Bob Dylan and Van Morrison.
I'll be attending the Cannes Advertising festival after which I'll be doing some travelling around Europe. I hate travelling alone, hence looking for someone to travel with.
I'll be arriving in Geneva around June 27th, after which I'll be heading to Interlaken-Slovenia-Prague-Poland.
I plan to travel to small towns and villages around the cities, walk, have great food, sip wine, crack bad jokes with the locals, sit in a cafe.
