I am more of an adventurer so I usually go alone, although I tried going on a trip with some friends before and enjoyed their company. I prefer to go alone because when I'm with other people, we often disagree because we have different tastes when it comes to travel matters. But that doesn't mean I am an introvert, I just love doing whatever I want without having to consult the group's consensus. Time is so precious to be spent on tenuous discussions right? anyway, I love exotic destinations such as morocco, I am currently enjoying Fez attractions.
I love Morocco too! It's a really great place. But unlike you, I prefer going out with friends. I especially love the nightlife when I can spend a lot of time dancing and drinking with people. But I agree that sometimes it's great to be alone in a travel. It allows you to explore any place you want. But now I'm traveling with my friends and we enjoy a lot of time shopping in Rabat.

i have done both but each has an upside, hell who is gonna take your picture at 3 am with the girl you'll never see again?
YOUR M8 thats who! so yes they have stinky feet and a slight problem forgetting their wallets at every inconceivable time.. but the stories to tell.
safety lies in numbers too but sometimes number can make you more of a target, say when trying to sleep in a train station.
speed is a factor for me now i am fit and i love to walk and hate paying for the cab unless its fixed price tram, so nothing bugs me more then a buddy who is lagging or has inappropriate footwear.
~~and so i say to you garret, wherever you are.. i wish you the best, good luck in all.
I have travelled both alone and with a company. Both has its own good points. I would want some time with my self and love adventure too. But when time comes that I would want to spend my vacation with the people I'm comfortable with, then travelling with a group it is! I'd always wanted to visit Morroco and taste their glorious food!
I think it depends on the location, too. International travel I always go with a partner or group, but domestic isn't as bad, drive across the state or fly into a metro area like NY and just hang out. Of course, it helps if you're with a travel partner who knows the area better than you, too...
