Do not travel in Africa with Solomon Mosos Olemwaipasi.
He perpetrates fraud on his trusting victims and was able to extort nearly $1000 from my friend and myself on our recent trip to Tanzania and Uganda. His scam was that his electronic payment card for the Seregeti did not work and could we "loan" him the cash (never returned). He also charged us for airline tickets he allegedly purchased and could not produce and then was bold enough to hit us up for the price of his ticket to Uganda. Later, I learned by having an article translated from Swahili to English that he had been to court in June, 2007, for cheating another person of $2000 for airline tickets. I have reported him to the police in Dar-es-Salaaam and everywhere else I can think of to try to stop him from victimizing others. If you would like to have the full story, please email me at carlottawest@hotmail,com and put "Ole" in the subject line so I know itis not spam. |

Oh my God! How could you possibly ever feel comfortable going back again. I had a completely different experience, and I have gone in July 2006 with one friend, and July 2007 with my husband and daughter on private safaris with probably the best human being i have ever met. We were best friends since we met. I have built his website, which is www.acrosstanzaniaexpeditions.com and hope you have the time to look at it. The first thing you will notice is Hezron's (guide and owner) infectious smile, and it's not fake. He let us know in words, that he was not there to take us on a safari, but to journey together on an expedition through part of Tanzania; which we most certainly did.
