Hi friends,
I am planning to visit South Africa at the end of next year. I am going there with my friends. My questions are: Which is the best season for travelling to South Africa? Where can I get a reasonable price hotel? Before going there I want to book hotels through any travel websites. My friend had suggested me one travel website www.asiarooms.com I find the site very informative and contains a vast list of hotels. But I am little confused if it is ok to book hotels through that site? |

Hi Richard,
When is the best time to visit South Africa? To some extent this depends on where you are planning to go. However, for the most part - March to May is probably the best time for most regions. The weather is cooler mid to low 20oC in the Cape, slightly hotter & humid along the Kwa Zula Natal east coastline, the highveld (Jo'burg / Pretoria) is still quite warm & the lowveld (Kruger National Park) usually high 20's to low 30's (degrees centigrade). The hottest & usually wettest months range from November - January. Where to stay. Again this depends on where you're going, but there are plenty of options for both those on a tight budget & the less cash strapped traveller. Here are a few S.A. websites which might help. www.wheretostay.co.za/ www.sleeping-out.co.za/ www.stayinsa.co.za/ www.aatravel.co.za/ http://www.southafrica.info/ Hope this is of some use to you. Enjoy your trip to S.A. |
