I need to travel from Morogoro, Tanzania to Nairobi in Aug this year. What is the best and safest route and how far is it? Can you travel through the night or is it best to stop off? Any suggestions on places to stay or any other advice would be most welcome.

The best way would be to go via Dar Es Salaam and overnight then on to Nairobi.
In Dar the budget geust houses are in Libya st, Econo lodge / Jambo inn / Safari Inn all close to each other so if one is full you can go to the next, cost is circa $10 pp per night A little more upmarket is the Swiss garden & Kaya Inn cost circa $35 a single.
Be aware that some scammers are working in Libya st and will try to involve you a in a dope buy scam, by walking next to you when smoking, then fake police will turn up ..........
