We have just heard that the preposed increase from $30 pp per day for Kilimanjaro & Serengeti to $100 has been reduced to $60 for Kilimanjaro & $50 for Serengeti start 01.01.06 this only due to the efforts of TATO Association of Tanzanian Tour Operators.
It has been said that it will be only for one year "The new fees to be effective beginning January, 2006, operative tentatively for one year. The structure of fees thereafter will be determined by the findings of the impending research."
