Can anyone who has been to Morocco, tell me if they think it is safe for a lone female traveller to go there. Also any suggestions on the most important places to see if only got 2 weeks. Thanks.

Yes, pretty safe for lone women travellers but take normal precautions. Dress appropriately, only take small amounts of money out with you, don't walk around alone late at night. If you speak French you'll find getting around easier.
Highlights - Marrakech (shopping, eating and sightseeing), Essaouira (beach, hamans, medina, fresh fish, stay in Villa Maroc). Ouarzazate (stay at kasbah Ben Morro on the road to Skoura) and Atlas Mountains for trekking. Morocco is such a beautiful country but can be a bit daunting if you cross by ferry from Spain. Far less streesful to fly into Casablanca or Marrakech.
Watch out for dirty old men groping you in the crowds in Djemma Al Fna in Marrakesh, my girlfriend got grabbed by a few guys when we got into a bit of squeeze once. Not very nice.
