Would people travel to Ethiopia in the midst of a famine?

I am producing a report to establish whether media coverage of ethiopia's problems (such as drought) is discouraging tourists from travelling to ethiopia, and therefore depriving the ethiopian economy of much needed income.
For example you may be aware that Bob Geldof returned to the country this year with "Save the children" amid a wave of media frenzy to stimulate awareness of drought in certain parts of the country.
One theory is that this portrayal of ethiopia gives it an unfair bad image which damages the tourism industry.

I am looking for people you have been to ethiopia, and people who havn't been, to help my research by answering a short questionnaire for me.

Anyone who would be willing to do this please leave a reply. Also any other opinions regarding this topic would be much appreciated.
