Looking for some advice on where to stay in south africa. I never use hotels and hostels are filled for Feb...is it wise to just camp alone. Between Capetown and Swaziland..Also, anyone been on a shark safari? Is it worth it?

Hi Edmonton,
Former Calgarian here Have you given any thought to Bed and Breakfast? B & Bs in South Africa are all accredited, very affordable - especially now that the Rand has taken a dive and are in many ways much better than your average hotel. I have a friend in Rustenburg with a B&B. His name is Willem and this is his site http://www.golf-in-africa.com if you get to that neck of the woods. There are lots of others that you can find at ananzi.co.za - South Africa's search engine. If you need a currency converter there are several on the net and there is one on my site but the rate today was somewhere around 10.70US to 1 in your favour. Hope this helps Karen Copelandgolf travel packages Give yourself the ultimate golfing challenge - Golf South Africa |
