dear travellers,
tanzania and zanzibar have become expensive places to travel and at times, quality does not correspond to the price paid. this especially applies to restaurants in stone town. i found out that luis yogurt parlour, run by an indian-goan woman, has re-opened and she cooks delicious homemade goan food (for max. 6000 tsh) and serves homemade yoghurt drinks/lassi.
apparently she was in all the guide books of the ninties, but she had to close down due to family problems. now she is back, trying to start over again.
