Hello,
I'm a 24 year old student about to graduate and want to do some humanitarian work in the upcoming year. I am looking into going to Africa, so far mainly looking into Tansunia. Basically I would like to help build houses/buildings/wells, etc. to help the local people. I would like an area that is very safe. I also want an area where I can: -Interact with locals in a friendly manner -Travel safely and see some beautiful scenary (preferably a coastline, as I love the beach) -Genuinely help the locals Anyone that could recommend a country or an organization to look into please respond :) I am very excited about the possibility of this opportunity and want to make sure I get/give the most I can. I want to be doing this for 2-5 months. Thanks! |

I should mention too, that as a bonus would be a community that drums actively as I am a drummer myself (Djembe/Ashiko).
