I am here on behalf of a new website magazine called 'truth be told'. We are trying to write articles about current and just interesting issues! Our ethic is that we want to know about whats going on in the world around us. We want to have fun and be passionate about a lot of things and we want to make sure we do our bit! A lot of this could apply to travellers (of which I am one!) which is one of the reasons we have popped in hear to say hi.
We have just put an article up about Live8 and the issues surrounding it. We are hoping to have a whole section up about Africa the country and we would love to hear from you guys. We are looking for info that celebrates Africa and its successes as well as info on the bits that are suffering and maybe your opinion/advice/experience of what kind of things actually help the problems in Africa. So many of us have very little idea of what Africa is actually like and we want to find out! It could be a couple of lines of info a few paragraphs or a whole article! We will get back to everyone who sends something in to discuss it and we will credit everyones info that we use whatever form it might end up taking.
I hope I am not breaking any rules with this. 'truth be told' doesn't make money in any form, it doesn't sell anything and it is not dedicated to travel so this shouldn't be stepping on anyone's toes! We are just trying to find the best way to chat to people with the kind of experience we need! Everything will go throught the 'truth be told' team, we are not an open forum but we are very interested in getting a whole of list guest writers. This magazine is for everyone who shares the same interests as us and basic attitude to life - though not necessarily the same opinions!
Please get back to me if you have anything to share or an article to put forward at tbt@cdo.co.uk. You can visit our website at truthbetold.co.uk. Please forgive that we don't have many articles going yet. We are very new and that is one of the reasons we are beginning to search for our guest writers.
All the best in your travels
Cassie - on behalf of the 'truth be told' team
