Anyone know what it's like at this time? Many other travellers about? I'm coming to Morocco partly to escape xmas in Britain but I wouldn't mind a few bevvies somewhere nonetheless.
Also, is it particularly warm in the south of Morocco at this time - Essouria, Agadir? Or even Western Sahara?

Yes, I've been to Morocco at Christmas.

Effectively you cancel Christmas - A normal working day.

The sub-sahara - Nights can get cold. Even this far south winters can be cold but nothing like as bad as U.K. I recollect going to Tiznet in December - cold and raining.

Agadir not recommended. Destroyed by earthquake in 1960. Very modern. Touristic. Least Moroccan of major cities.

A few bevvies - As a muslim country alcohol may be difficult to find in many places and will be expensive.

In many countries such as Spain Christmas is NOT a "piss up" as in Britain. In a muslim country even less so.
