We recently visited Taroudannt in Morocco with friends.
On arrival we discovered that we had booked the Hotel Riad Miryam in Marrakesh instead of the Riad Miryam in Taroudannt. It was dark and we were tired having just travelled over the Atlas Mountains. Although full and busy with new arrivals, the owner of the Miryam, Habib Moultazim, contacted his namesake in Marrakesh and resolved, what might have been, an embarrassing situation. He then provided us with sweets and tea whilst he found us alternative accommodation. This turned out to be a renovated farm house in the country set in an orange grove; totally atmospheric. Habib also provided a guide who stayed with us on the farm over night and who accompanied us to and from the hotel where we ate Dinner and Breakfast. The food and service at the Hotel Riad Miryam at Taroudannt is the best we had in Morocco. The quality of the food is outstanding and Habib and his wife are the perfect hosts. The Riad Miryam is highly recommended and a must for anyone wishing to stay in Taroudannt. |

That is such a great experience for you. I have been to Morocco, especially in Marrakech, many times now and I can attest that people can always have great choices of accommodations in Marrakech
