Iam planning to travel to Botswana in October/November this year. I will be staying with a friend in Garborone, but I do want to travel around a bit. I will be travelling with a 6-year-old child. Has anyone got any experiences regarding travelling with children in Botswana ? I am mainly worried about snakes and Malaria.
Is October/November far enough into the dry season, so I don't have to worry about Malaria too much ? Is there certain areas with no/lots of Malaria ? What kind of Malaria Protection is currently recommended for Gaborone and Botswana ?
