Howdy travellers! Anyone been in Uganda or Rwanda recently? Have any updates regarding safety while near Congo border? I'm planning to go to either the Park Nationale de Volcans or Bwindi... and hoping it's safe. Recent consulate updates highlight the murder of 2 Americans in north Uganda in March, but there have been warnings against going there so what happened is unclear... & there were probably more than 2 Americans killed in March in the U.S. so trying to assess risk here.
