How safe is Angola (Luanda) these days?

A Portuguese tour company called 'Soltropico' is doing package holidays to Luanda and the national parks, as well as to Guinea Bissau. Is this risky on the part of the company, or is Angola a popular long-haul destination for the Portuguese, and our (non-Portuguese) fears are completely unjustified?
