I was in Tanzania for 2 months last summer and I enjoyed it so much I'm going back next June! I'll climb Kili for a 2nd time (Machame route, the most beautiful one) with a friend and we'd like 2 other climbers with us. We'll be climbing in 7 days (June 13-19) for acclimatization.
We'll also be going on a 4-day safari from June 11-13 (Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro). Believe me 4 days is enough... I went for 6 days last year and our excitement was declining massively at the end. I was with the cheapest company for both the climb and the safari and I was satisfied with the service so I want to go back with them (Kili 4 people : US$900/pp and safari 6 days, 6 people : US$660/pp) We are 2 laid back French Canadian medical students (21 and 26 yo) Anyone interested? Hi, I'll be in Nairobi for 9 months, and will have time off from work here and there. I don't know my exact schedule but, Climbing both Kili and Kenya are on my lists.
I'm a 20 yr old International Affairs student from Atlanta,Ga who's done a fair amount of hiking and climbing ( Cascades, Whites and Greens), and have most if not all of my own gear and am trying to skip the $2k price sticker that american guide services seem to be hovering around. might I ask what service you're using? |
