Does anyone have any ideas or events taking place during the Holidays in Orlando? We are visiting the family and have two young children. We are visiting the parks for two days, but need more affordable things to do for the remaining days. Any ideas?? Thanks!!

I stayed in Quanlity Inn plaza hotel near new year periond , 28-1 jan. It a short bus ride to Disneyland. the streest arcoss there a number of restruants and gift shops. There is a water theme park around there which maybe of interest to the kids.

I found this great new site that I keep referring to. It has helped me plan my christmas vacation in Orlando! They have a lot of events listed at Disney and Universal, but also things outside of the themeparks that I didn't know about, like Nutcracker and holiday concerts.

One thing I added to my list is this ice display at a local hotel (Gaylord Palms) that is carved from two million pounds of ice! I can't wait to see that one! Only in Orlando! Ha!
