Does anyone know how to get to St Thomas (Bahamas) from Nassau? Is the only option on a cruise ship or are there smaller vessel companies who can transport between the islands, say, for a one night/one day trip? Also, what is the estimated distance/time of journey between the two islands?

I lived in Nassau, Bahamas for several years and have never heard of a place in the Bahamas called St Thomas.

I assume you mean the well-known port of St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands, which is in the Caribbean some distance from the Bahamas.

I would imagine your only options for getting between the two places are either a cruise ship (as you suggest) or a flight (probably via Miami).
