Hi Jalit,
Sorry, but I've only just found this website so you may be on your adventure already. I live in England and am travelling to Yukon and Alaska for 3 weeks this August. With regards to Barrow which is where we will be going for part of our trip, there are flights from Fairbanks from May. And regarding accommodation in Barrow, it may be worth contacting the University of Alaska Fairbanks as they have a research station at Barrow and may know of discounted accommodation, locals who may be able to help etc.
