I am trying to plan a 10 day trip for myself and my 13 year old daughter for this July. We are flying into Vancouver. I was thinking of maybe taking the train to Banff and then to the coast and coming back to Vancouver via ferry. Is there enough time to do this. What are the must see places? (but not tourist traps please) We up for some camping, biking, hiking but don't want to travel with too much gear. Also, do we need to worry about physical safety (bears) when camping? what about getting from place to place without a car(ex; lake louise)are there buses? It seems like there is so much to see and maybe 10 days won't afford enough time but I already booked my air tickets. All suggestions are appreciated!
