My folks are thinking of doing an Alaskan Cruise (probably from Seattle or Vancouver) in August. Is this the best time of year to do it? Is it best to go for a big cruise liner and luxury, or something slightly smaller that can visit more of the inlets and ports up the Alaskan coast? Is it cheaper to book it in the UK, USA or Canada? Does anyone know if you can disembark in Victoria (Vancouver Island) on the way back (it stops there)? Thanks
