what is the cheapest way to get to Newfoundland from the UK?

There really is NO cheap way. Air Canada from Heathrow will not be cheap, but if you go through another city in Canada the flight add on will be expensive. For example, I can fly Toronto to London for less than Toronto to Newfoundland most times of the year.
