We will be travelling O/S later this year and have the choice of travelling either on a Holland America 8 day cruise of Alaska or visiting Eastern Canada (Montreal/Toronto/Quebec City).
Any opinions on the better option (we are aged early 30's) ???
Hi there well I haven't been to these places (although will be in the near future) but the Alaska Cruise I would imagine would be more scenery, wildlife and generally more sophisticated and relaxing. Whereas Toronto/Montreal etc. seems more like a city holiday and I think you would experience more culture on this one and it would probably be livelier. This may or may may not help you I am not sure but that is my idea of how each holiday would go!

depends what time of year you are planning to travel...alaskan cruise is better for summer ... midnight sun is something not to be missed, fall is beautiful in quebec and east - personally i would skip toronto and go to ottawa instead...kind of agree with other post although there's plenty of outdoors stuff around montreal, quebec and toronto...either way you'll love canada!
