Hi.

We are planning a trip for Oct 2006 and would like to include Las Vegas ( staying with relatives) San Francisco and NY.

Will it be cheaper to get the internal flights when we are there or book them ahead in the UK? Cheers

Some (American) airlines will do deals on internal US flights if you book your transatlantic flights with them - but I believe the whole itinerary would have to be arranged at the same time.

Alternatively, check out the American low-cost airlines www.jetblue.com and www.southwestair.com .

Airline ticket prices usually depend on when you travel since they use yield management or "demand based pricing". If you are traveling at a busy time, i would definitely suggest booking ahead on expedia or something. If it is a busy time, you always save when you book 2 weeks in advance.
