Hello,
This may be a silly question but I will be going to the USA in a month - first time traveller! When hostels say linen included, what exactly does that include? Basically will we need to take sleeping bags and pillows? Thanks |

I've only stayed at one hostel in the states (HI in San Luis Obispo), and linen was included. That basically meant top sheet, bottom sheet, pillow, pillowcases, and blanket...basically everything you need. Many hostels don't allow sleeping bags because they can transmit bugs and stuff. In general, I think most hostels in the U.S. supply linen, since Americans (myself included) are lazy and won't put up with accomodations that don't supply these things.
