Hi,
I am planning a RtW trip. My first stop will be the USA. I will fly to NY (April) and am planning on spending a couple of months travelling and then fly out from LA. I am unsure of my route at present, although I have an idea of some attractions and places I want to see. I would be interested to hear of anyone else's plans/experiences for USA - any places I should definitely not miss or any places to avoid?! Thanks! |

The great thing about the United States is if you can imagine some one being creative or just plain stupid enough to do or make something then chances are some one has made or done it here. If this is your first time in the states there are some wonderful things to see and experience even if you're traveling on your own. Are you looking for nightlife, history, cuisine, "hooking up," natural beauty, hiking, cultural events, or just getting a good feel for what the US has to offer? In some ways these different areas overlap but they really are distinct and worthy of "a few months bumming around" to really do it up right.
