I visited the only Chinese restaurants in NYC recommended in Rough Guides USA on 8/12/07 (Joe's Shanghai & Joe's Ginger) and was rather disappointed. The food were ordinary, the waiter rushed customers to leave and the restaurants only accepted cash (why?).
