I'm travelling across canada (Vancouver to toronto way) for 2 mths this summer, planning to spend about a month of it in the rockies. I'm an student and am travelling with one mate on Greyhounds, we're camping and hostleing across - trying to do lots with not a lot of money!!!

Anyway my point was that my mate doesn't climb much, were as i love it - i will have me, a harness, my rock boots and a belay plate.... anyone that thinks meeting up would be a laugh...?????

I'll happily second or top rope all day, boulder, even lead!! (I have amazing epics leading trad, but i CAN do it!!!) would be really good to find someone to spend a couple of days out with....

Also if anyone else is doing a similar coast to coast thing and wants to meet up to do any kind of adventurous sport (canoe? hike? ice stuff?) or just to go out for a drink one night, then we'd be up for it....
