Hi, Can anyone suggest which area (neighbourhood) is best to stay in San Francisco and any hotel recommendations? We will be arriving by plane from Las Vegas, staying 4 nights and will not have a car. Many thanks

Fisherman's Wharf. Plenty of places to stay, Travelodge? Holiday Inn?

Many thanks Mork. Had looked at Fishermans Wharf but everywhere I read says not to stay there so was just checking to see what people thought.

Union Square is a good area to access public transportation, shopping, and theaters.
