I know BC is pretty much famous for its mtb'in and pretty much one of the main reasons im going. I was wondering though, are mountain bikes cheap in Canada and is it worth trying to save up for buying a bike over there and then bringing it back to the UK?

Has anyone done this? Would i have to pay anything for bringing it back to the UK.

One thing is, UK is expensive for pretty much everything these days, i was hoping to be in BC for up2 3 months and mountain biking my main sport, it might be expensive to rent for that sort of period of time.
