I want to spend two weeks in New York. I'm a student and that's why I am on very short budget. Is it possible to save there? And how much money is enough to take?

Thanks

Central Park is a great free place in New York - it is great in the summer. Many of the museums have recommended pricing - so you pay what you can afford. Staten Island ferry gives you a view of the Statue of Liberty for nothing. Get to know the Metro and bus system - for two bucks you can go to most places in the boroughs. There is a Little Italy in the Bronx which isnt mentioned in the guide books sometimes - Arther Avenue, Bronx. These are just a few off the top of my head... Im sure others wil have more. Good luck!
