I'm going to stay with friends in the USA, who own a car, but do not actually have driving licences. I have a British driving licence, and an over 25, and was thinking about insuring myself to drive their car (or just insuring myself to drive). I was just wondering if anyone had ony idea of what this would cost, and which companies it might be worth contacting? (Because I'd be staying with friends I would have an address in the USA I could use while I was there if that makes it easier to use an American insurance company).
