Trekking in Morocco some of the best in all of Africa. We have a wide selection of Morocco trekking holidays with departures every week of the year, and with grades ranging from easy to tough. All of our tours travel to remote, off the beaten track areas, and to traditional Berber villages populated by friendly local people living a life that’s changed little over hundreds of years. If you want to trek in Morocco during the summer, head for the High Atlas to climb either Toubkal (4163m) North Africa’s highest peak, or Jebel Mgoun (4068m) North Africa’s second, or both. In the winter we head further south to walk in the Anti-Atlas or Jebel Sahro ranges,or berbere villages . Every week of the year we schedule an easy grade, centre-based trekking trip from the quiet rural village of imlil. This is a popular option for those new to trekking or looking for a gentle one week holiday which combines the best of rural Morocco and the vibrant city of Marrakech.

Morocco is a great place to travel to.
Other than the great culture one can see there, it's also a great for hiking and mountaineering. http://www.mycliffbuddies.com offers some good tips. I specially liked Jabel Toubkal and Jabel Musa which offer a great view and some very interesting cliffs. One thing to take in account is that medical treatment is quite problematic on the area so you better take extra care when climbing. |
