Visiting Vancover end June and want to watch the world cup football final. Any suggestions as to where will much appreciated. Have heard it is on CBC channel is this found on hotel TVs or are there any sports bars that will show it?

cbc is showing it but it will be shown late at night-rather in the morning. unless it won't be live. i am writing form eastern canada so.....

go to ethnic sports bars beocs' north americans aren't big on football/soccer.
try italian sports bars - i dunno if there is an italian quarter. brazilian-portuguese ones.south americans social clubs?
but vancouver has alot of asian communities- mostly chinese,hong kong,taiwan but a sizeable japanese community (due to immigration last century and modern travellers). i am sure there are koreans as well. ask around or look in the phone book.

forgot to add- the sports channel also might run it. so any sports bar will do.
