Hi everybody :)

The thing is - i'll be moving to Ottawa for four months, starting january 2005, so i have a few questions...

- any suggestions on how to cope with the harsh weather? ;)
- best nighlife & socialising spots, cultural activities, sports etc. in the city?
- some average prices would be nice... (incl. cigarettes :s) - if i get a subsidy of 300 CAD a month + free accommodation and food, will it be enough to live on?
- must see/do things in the entire country, considering that i'll have pleanty of time over the weekends!!! and also - what's the best/cheapest way of getting around the country?
- any additional info, tips, reccommendations etc. would be greatly appreciated!!!
