We would like to get married in the Maya Riviera of Mexico. We thought it might be more suited to an intimate wedding. We want to be surrounded by nature and have more quiet but still want a fun atmosphere. We are particularly looking at Akumal. Has anyone stayed at the Akumal beach resort run by Karisma Hotels?( They offer q wedding package.)

I once went to a Mexican wedding. Not on purpose. It was just there and they ushered us in. We helped serve the food and drink the drinks and made quite a few friends using our extremley rudimentary spanish and helping out with our new friends' rudimentary english. And you know what they say about bridesmaids? Well, double it in Mexico. Woof.
