More than just our academic proposal, the immersion in the Spanish language and sharing with Honduran families; IXBALANQUE offers to their students a close capture of the latest information in Archeology, Sociology and Anthropology of the Mayan Culture, carried by conferences presented by scientists of a great professional record and international recognition.

From IXBALANQUE the students also can enjoy the pretty ecological corners, long walks and strolls to horse by mountains, rivers and fresh waterfalls that the nature has given to Copán Ruins, to share them with their visitors and who without a doubt some will enrich their experience in America Center.

I had a great experience at Ixbalanque last summer and the community and surrounding mountains are lovely - excellent place to study Spanish.
