Looks like I'm headed off to Costa Rica for a month. 28th of Dec. until late January. Any wild suggestions on places and things to check out.

Depends upon how wild you want it.

Arenal Volcano is well worth a visit. Loads of accommodation to suit most pockets in the La Fortuna area and a good chance of seeing some volcanic activity.

If you're into wildlife, then a stop over at Delfin Amor on Bahia Drake might be worth considering. Reef diving, whale and dolphin watching and rain forest trips are on offer. It would help if you are into yoga and spititual stuff as well, but you can survive without.
