I'm looking for a place for my 50th birthday with some friends to play on the beach and go whale watching at least once. Not a lot of people. Not too fancey but comfortable. AFter the new year.
Thanks! Mandy

See my reply above, re Delfin Amor, Bahia Drake, Costa Rica or check out our website www.avengerpenguins.com - the Costa Rica trip report includes details of two wonderful trips out into the ocean where we saw about 3000 dolphins and pilot whales. There are photos from links at the end of the report.

If that isn't enough cetaceans for you, come to France next summer and link up with bdsf ( www.bdsf.net ). A report from our trip with them will be on our site 'soon' - fin whales and striped dolphins were the highlight.

Have a good birthday.
