For what? Bone, tarpon, permit and snook are prolific in Belize. You can fish rivers, mangroves, sea. Lots of very good options.

I was looking to bone fish. I will be in Guatemala for a month taking a language course, how could I get to bone fishing in Belize from Antigua.

Unless you have already booked a course, I would suggest researching them at 123teachme.com for something at the level and quality you want. It should be no problem extending a course that you start for a week, but if you prepay for four weeks and decide that Antigua is just too bland or the school is not right for you, good luck getting your money back! You won't.

To get to Belize from Antigua, you must go to Guatemala City. From there, you can either fly or bus to Santa Elena/Flores and then hop buses eastward to Belize City. However, it would be silly to be at Flores and not see the world class ruins at Tikal. Vans meet any flight or first class bus with offers of a ride there, so it is simple to do.
